Legal Structures

Legal Structures for Social Enterprise

Tuesday 18th November & Wednesday 19th November 2008

London Rebuilding Society is running this very successful two-day course on Legal Structures in the Social Economy again in 2008.

The course is given by Charlie Cattell, a leading consultant and expert in the field.  It covers all the different constitutional options (Co-op, CIC, IPS, Co Ltd, Co Ltd by Guarantee, etc.) and their advantages and disadvantages - fundamental knowledge for anyone advising social enterprises or voluntary bodies venturing into trading.

Taking place over two days, this course is very thorough, which is different from the shorter courses available on the market.  We have had enthusiastic feedback from former participants, e.g. 'it sounds such a dull subject but Charlie makes it interesting, lively and topical.'

The cost of the course is £275 per participant (including all teas, coffees, and lunch) total for both days with no VAT to pay.

Full details of the course programme can be found by clicking on Day 1 and Day 2 in the menu on the left.

This course will take place in our newly refurbished training room on the first floor at 9 Bonhill Street, London EC2A 4PE.  See Calendar for dates and times and Courses and Events Booking Form for how to book.
