Allison Ogden-Newton, Board Member
Allison Ogden-Newton is the Chief Executive of Social Enterprise London, which supports and promotes social enterprise throughout the capital.
As CE of SEL, Allison has successfully brokered innovative partnerships that have increased the understanding and development of social enterprise in London. Using an open, inclusive and incisive management style Allison has galvanised staff and stakeholders alike inspiring them to use creative solutions to tackle the big challenges facing social enterprise.
Prior to working for SEL, Allison was the CEO at Women's Education in Building (WEB) - a voluntary organisation set up to support women by providing education and training in the construction trades. While at WEB Allison became interested in social enterprise and set up building etc - a project that offered struggling entrepreneurs incubator office space, access to start-up finance and business mentoring.
Allison is also the vice-chair of ACEVO - the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations.
