Matthew Simkins, Board Member
Matthew Simkins is an experienced Turnaround Professional and Accountant. He has had many years of experience in revitalising struggling organisations in both the Corporate and Charitable Sectors.
Matthew undertakes a range of roles including leading Turnarounds, Executive and Non-Executive Directorship, Independent Reviews, and mentoring of Chief Executives through a Turnaround. His work is often focused on the financial aspects of the business but he has regularly worked in roles that require a broader responsibility across the performance of the whole organisation.
Matthew is a recognised speaker on Turnaround Management for both Society of Turnaround Professionals (STP) and The Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3) and is a visiting lecturer at the CASS business school in London.
Matthew is a member of a number of professional committees, including the Education committees of both R3 and STP, and is a committee member of the Turnaround Finance Group, which has a communication and networking role for Asset Based Lenders and VC's operating in Turnarounds.
