David Brinsford, Board Member
David manages the 'More than Profit' team at the Royal Bank of Scotland looking after some five hundred organisations in this valued sector (charities, social entereprises and not-for-profit).

He has been with the Bank for twenty-seven years both here in London and in Bristol dealing with a wide variety of customers ranging from multi-nationals to local businessman. For the last seven years or so he has gradually switched to the point where he now focuses all his energies on the More than Profit sector.
His particular focus is on social enterprises and trying to ensure the bank is positioned to understand and meet their needs. In this connection he has been involved with the London Social Economy Taskforce and taken part in the SBS/Social Enterprises Unit Access to Finance working party for social enterprises.
Outside work he has served as a school governor at his childrens' secondary school and has just retired as a football referee, having officiated to semi-professional level.
