Toni is one of the founders of Account3 Women’s Consultancy Services, a workers co-operative providing training services to excluded women via EU and central government contracts. Account3 runs a range of vocational training courses, including since 1997 the celebrated Tower Hamlets Women’s Enterprise Project, which supports the development of women-led businesses. She is now the day to day co-ordinator, the finance manager and also does all of the fundraising, which is in the region of £600,000 per year.
Toni has 16 years experience of project development, management and evaluation and has taught subjects from Basic Skills to Management in a variety of voluntary sector organisations.
She has served on several management committees in a range of childcare, health and women's organisations over the same period in capacities of Chair, Secretary and member.
Toni also developed a driving instructors training project for women which led to the development of a growing co-operatively run driving school called Women in Tuition.
For the seven years prior to establishing Account3, Toni ran a successful software development company with a client base including multi nationals such as MW Kellog (Oil Company) and The Royal Opera House (London).
In 1974 she set up the Richmond Avenue Playgroup as a parents co-operative, and whilst she is no longer involved, this nursery is still running under the name of Cally All Stars providing full day care for up to 30 under fives.
