Eclectic Productions
Eclectic Productions started by running successful ESOL (English for Speakers of Second Languages) courses for the local community in New Cross.
They developed their community communication services by using multimedia to help people talk to and bond with each other, which led to the establishment of South City Radio (formerly Radio Peckham).
In August 2008, Eclectic launched their innovative, vibrant, youth-led multimedia channel REPREZENT in partnership with Choice FM. It provides training and learning opportunities to over 150 young people and has already had content featured on BBC Newsnight, Choice FM, Radio 4 and ITV London Tonight.
A loan of £20,000 from London Rebuilding Society will enable Eclectic to prepare a bid to OFCOM for a five year FM licence for REPREZENT.
