East London Advanced Technology Training (ELATT)
Established in 1984, ELATT is a registered charity and one of the top ICT training providers in East London.
It was set up to provide vocational IT training for unemployed adults in the City Fringe and especially in Hackney and Tower Hamlets, and so far has trained over 3,800 local people. ELATT has two sites: one in Spitalfields and the other in Kingsland Road, Hackney.
Its rigorous courses, combined with a skills improvement programme, ensure that over 50% of its students go into jobs or further education each year.
In 2003, ELATT moved to new, refurbished premises, assisted by a £50,000 loan from London Rebuilding Society.
