Aardvark Recycling
Aardvark Recycling specialises in the collection and processing of food waste for residents in hard-to-reach urban areas.
Aardvark turns the waste into good quality compost which it gives back to local residents and community groups.
It also runs a low-cost fruit and vegetable box scheme for the residents that it serves, and promotes the benefits of healthy eating.
The above scheme is partially financed by Aardvark's commercial service - it provides food waste recycling services to restaurants and other businesses across London.

London Rebuilding Society provided a loan of £50k to finance additional equipment and costs associated with extending Aardvark’s services to more households within the London Borough of Lambeth.
