Brent Community Transport
BCT was set up 30 years ago to provide affordable and accessible transport solutions to people in and around the London Borough of Brent.
Established in 1974, Brent Community Transport is a registered charity set up to provide affordable and accessible transport solutions to socially excluded people in and around the London Borough of Brent. Today it works in partnership with the Borough to provide a Group Transport Service and a Community Car Scheme, and with Transport for London (TfL) to provide a Plusbus (a network of low-floor, fixed-route services, which links housing estates with local doctors, hospitals, shops and day centres) within the Borough.
It also runs a vehicle workshop which will service the vehicles of other community groups, and training courses for a variety of driver skills, such as MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) and PATS (Passenger Awareness Training Scheme).
