Working Well Trust
Set up in 1992, Working Well Trust is a charity based in East London which aims to assist people with long-term mental health support needs to access training, education and employment opportunities.
It also aims to change employers' attitudes towards mental health and encourages local employers to offer work experience placements and jobs to its participants.
Working Well Trust has three sites: its head office at Newham houses the Employment Training project, known as Jobshop, which provides employment-focused, long-term support for people who want to return to work, training and sometimes further education.
In particular, it assists with practical skills, such as CV preparation, practising job interviews, completing application forms, using the telephone, and going on the internet to look for jobs.
