Schools Plus Limited
School Plus Ltd was set up in 2004 by James Woods.
The initial business idea was to manage the letting of school premises outside school hours to community groups, but this is now expanding to provide a complete premises management service to schools if this is required (including for example relief caretaking, cleaning and other essential services).
There are currently (September 2007) 6 major primary and secondary school clients in the Greater London area, 3 in Derbyshire and a number of minor contracts.
London Rebuilding Society has made a loan of £32,000 to Schools Plus, which is sufficient to cover the cost of two average school contracts.
