Class Racing
Class Racing has been created specifically for its target beneficiaries – young people aged between 14-19 who are at risk of exclusion from the education system.
It provides training in engineering, communication, and health and safety through stimulating and challenging course content constructing a competitive racing car.
Having built the car, Class Racing helps secure places in further/higher education for the young people involved or helps them secure employment in the engineering, construction, motor sports or motor trade sectors.
A £25,000 loan from LRS will enable Class Racing to take on a further member of staff and expand its operations.
