Nigel Wilkinson, Investment and Training Manager
Nigel has had a variety of incarnations. Originally qualified as a teacher, he initially went into the music business, which included running his own record shop and label in Camden.
He then combined his business and teaching skills to run one of the first ever business start-up courses in the Clerkenwell Workshops. Over the next 15 years he worked with a variety of organisations and clients such as the Refugee Council, Community Media Association and the Marketing Resource Centre and developed his motivational and client centred approach to training whilst including a wealth of training material.
Initially working at London Rebuilding Society as an Investment Officer, he now manages the LRS Training Programme including the innovative smartfinance programme, which aims to improve the business and finance skills of potential borrowers.
