Jacklyn Awobayikun, Business Resources Manager
Jacklyn is the Business Resources Manager. Her main task is to oversee and ensure the smooth running of the LRS organisation: not just the day-to-day life of the office, but also customer services, membership relationships, and systems development.
She has successfully steered LRS through a process of assessment to gain the Customer First kitemark. Her principal skills are a deft handling of people and their needs, and an ability to predict and prevent potential pitfalls in all of LRS' undertakings. She also provides peer support to Naomi Kingsley.
She began her working life as a reporter for the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria. She then took a diploma in journalism, and worked for an advertising agency and then a magazine house. Jacklyn came to England in 1989 and eventually went to Newtec to acquire (even more) business skills. It was here that she heard about LRS and got a taste for community development finance.
