Finance Plus +
Free introductory session and training course for social entrepreneurs
Financing your enterprise: 10.00 am Wednesday 23 June 2010
If you are starting up a new business or developing or expanding one, you may need capital, money for equipment, for extra staff, for a marketing campaign, or because you need more working capital while waiting for payment. This session will look at the flows of money in a business, the difference between capital and revenue, and what sources of finance there are to help you. We will then look at what you need to give investors, lenders, and grant-funders, as evidence that your enterprise will be sustainable and profitable.
The Finance for Business Planning course in the following weeks will give you the skills to prepare the financial information you need.
This introductory session is free and open to anyone who books. The subsequent Finance for Business Planning course (4 Tuesdays from July 6 to July 27) is free to social enterprises (a £50 deposit will be refunded when all the courses have been attended).
