Thursdays 23rd September and 21st October 2010
10:00 to 13:00 (9:45 for 10:00 start)
Please note: These seminars are now fully subscribed, but please let us know if you would be interested in attending future sessions and we will contact you

Aimed at either trustees or managers responsible for writing funding applications, these events are a good introduction or refresher for those new, or with limited fundraising experience. We will cover: Structure of Funding Applications, common jargon used in fundraising, the current funding culture and a blow by blow navigation through a funding application, looking at the questions asked and how to answer them! We will also touch on costing budgets and Full Cost Recovery.

These seminars will take place in our training room on the first floor at 9 Bonhill Street, London EC2A 4PE. Booking information is on the tab at the left. They are offered by LRS at no charge; however numbers are limited and we do ask you to book with us in advance, and if you do book a place please make sure that you let us know if you can no longer attend so that we can give you place to somebody else.

The courses are given by Diane West, an independent consultant and trainer who has over 24 years experience of working in the voluntary/community sector on a local and regional level. She is based in London and has been freelance since 2004. For further information about Diane please see www.dijest.net/aboutus.aspx
