Shares in London Rebuilding Society have a nominal value of £1; the minimum investment is £250 (which can be paid in instalments), and the maximum holding is £20,000. There are no charges or fees to pay.
LRS is accredited under the government's Community Investment Tax Relief scheme (CITR). CITR enables us to offer 5% tax relief to higher, basic rate and corporation tax payers who keep their funds invested for five years. This is a return equivalent to 6.25% gross per annum for basic rate tax-payers, 8.33% for higher rate tax-payers and 7.1% for corporations.
