Bringing empty properties back into use

August 21st 2013

There are 693,921 empty houses in England. This figure is made up of ONLY habitable houses and does NOT include any derelict or to be demolished houses. This equates to £115.4 billion pounds locked away in theses empty houses.

LRS has joined the campaign to bring back into use more empty properties by working with Local Authorities around England.

The Empty Homes Fund enables owners of empty properties to bring them back into use and local authorities to reduce their social housing waiting lists.
